Vertigo again!
Wow! Here is a little friend that I hadn't had visit for a while. Vertigo came knocking this morning and my body said, "Hey come on in! We have missed you!" NOT! I don't have my meds for the vertigo with me as I haven't had it for so long. It didn't kick in until I was on the commute to work. I am here because we have meetings this morning and like I told my co-worker whom I trust, I need to be here to defend myself.
The whole grievance thing is a stressful nightmare. The bosses called me in and wanted me to express orally what the problems are and what my grievance is about. Of course, I can't speak well anymore without stuttering and stumbling on my words. I get so angry and frustrated that I start to cry and that doesn't look all that great. I am not an attorney who can just present her case with confidence and eloquent speech. I am lucky my words weren't slurred. I suppose I would have been fired for drinking. LOL...wouldn't that be grand.
I couldn't sleep last night as all the stress of this whole miserable job was eating at me. I finally just prayed and asked God to take these burdens from me. I went right to sleep after that. Amazing how that works. I don't ask God for too much. Maybe I should trust in him more.
Woke this morning to a lot of pain in my right leg. Minor foot drop today. Mostly just tingling now. My right arm is functioning so I am not having a full on episode. The worst is the vertigo. I just want to close my eyes and stop spinning around. My head feels all mushy and I am sick to my stomach. I will make it thru the day because I am stubborn like that. I stopped letting this illness have my days. I survive them all and I do what needs to be done. For some reason I feel stronger today than I have about this illness. I feel like taking control of it now.
Ahhh well, hopefully this strength stays with me!

I\'m sorry you are not feeling well. I know it is horrible for someone to have to go thru all of this. God is giving you the strength to to handle all of this. I wish you all the best with your job. It must be terrible to work with people like that. Maybe things will settle down at work. Stress will definitely make your symptoms worse. That might be why vertigo has knock at your door. My prayers are with you. Just hang in there!
