verbal argument
I got into a verbal argument with Darrell this afternoon and he said that he was getting his child back{Jessica} when I returned home. So, I don't know what is going to happen. He said that he would call the cops if I didn't give her to him. I say, it will take the cops for him to get her back. Because he was drunk off his ass. And she will not be going home with him. Even if she is his child. I have had her now for at least 2 months for this stretch. He does not deserve her and I just wish he would sign the fu----- papers and give her to me. But he won't because it would be too damn easy. And she might would have a half way decent life. I cant believe my sister had to die and leave this mess for all of us to have to deal with these problems. If she were alive this crap wouldn't be happening. Well, I'm thru venting. Thanks for hearing me out and letting me BIt--....

If he\'s coming over drunk to pick her up, could you get social services to be there when he does? Just a thought.
He\'s been called on 2 times and both times he was just slapped on the wrists. The first time, hell he\'s here right now...
Please get social services involved...the more incidents are recorded...the better result you will have ultimately......for your niece.....sometimes it takes awhile for his alcoholism to catch up with him....
I\'m sorry you sister passed.....and I wonder if a grieving group might help you with what you are feeling about the situation....just wondering....love and hugs....d.
jeanne, you are totally right, the little girl needs a female figure in her life and you are a kind loveable person that would do very good for the child and he should never have drink in him when the child is in his care. i would not give them the child as she is in the best possible place, let him do as he like, its a child life we are talking about not a bit of propety,
Well, as I was trying to say last night before I was rudely interrupted: Anyway,I ended up and called the cops on Darrell last night. He kept yelling and cussing and banging on my doors. Right before the cops got here he ran his butt home and the cops couldn\'t find him. He probablly hid in his shed again, like he did the last time.Anyway the cops said that if he showed up again last night to call back and he would have a place to sleep.I kept telling the cops that he was drunk and I wasn\'t giving him the child. Finally, I asked the cop if I should give her back to him and he said, \"He wouldn\'t\". He said that the only way that Darrell could get her back was if he called the cops saying I wouldn\'t give her back. Then it would be based on a case by case basis. So, he would not of gotten Jessica back last night.Darrell never came by today. We never heard a word out of him. So, I don\'t know what he\'s up to. Yeah those are the results. You all have a blessed night.
i\'m sorry for ur troubles, u and the kids will be in my prayers. thank god those kids have u.
Oh, Jeanne, I so sorry you are going through this. We had a similar incident one night when my grandbaby\'s father came slamming on the doors in the dead of night. It is horrifying to go through that. Husband and I were separated at the time, which is a *good* thing because my husband would have laid that boy out. (I\'m so glad when I think about that. That is was ultimately resolved peacefully.)
Jeanne, you\'ve had such a hard road and still manage to hold your head up with dignity and responsibility. Kudos to you; you are a real lady!
