Venting
I am wondering when it is going to stop hurting when I hear pregnancy annoucements. I am sitting at my office and two co-workers are squealing in delight because one's daughter is four weeks pregnant and she can't contain her excitement that she is going to be a grandma for the first time. I had to close my office door, which didn't exactly eliminate the sounds, just muffled them a little. I almost said what I was thinking, "Don't get too excited, she's only 4 weeks, anything can happen...I was 26 weeks (in the clear) and my baby still died." But people don't want to hear that, especially people I don't know that well and who don't even know that my son died just over a year ago. Hearing pregnancy announcements was hard enough when all I was going through was infertility, I wish that I could go back to a world where I was upset because of an pregnancy annoucement, simply because I could not get pregnant. I do not want to minimize anyone else's journey because infertility sucks and it's hard as hell..but oh how I wish I could go back to that, I would give anything not to feel what I do now.

Hate hate hate :( That's a whole different ball of hurt. Are you still doing any treatment or looking to try again?
Thank you :) Yes, we are starting another round as soon as my period decides to come around. We are going to do a fresh round and freeze all, then 2 months later we will have a FET. I had been doing okay, which is why we are starting again, but with December being the one year mark and the holidays, it has been a bad few weeks. Just trying to ride the storm out. How have you been, must have been such a special holiday season for you :)
It was amazing! My daughter is 13 months now and so much fun. I did however get pregnant in September and have a miscarriage. The pregnancy was a surprise and started off normal, but I started bleeding one day and just never stopped. We got so excited and then just like that, it was over. None of this is easy. We are trying again on our own, so we'll see. We are optimistic!
Please keep me posted on how things go! Message me so I don't miss it! I want to know how it turns out for you!
