Vacation was Wonderful

Well I am home and our vacation was just great.   Lets start with that we were rear ended about 30 min after getting the rental van, all was ok but the van had some damage but still drivable.  When we got to my sister Renee's house we got a very unexpected phone call from Greg and we got to talk for 15 min his platoon got a gift for something or other.  He is doing just great and he says it is very easy not what he expected it to be.  I miss him so much even though he was a big pain in the butt.   We went to NY got some NY treats yummy, white water rafting worked out my upper arms, Six Flags went on 5 roller coasters and was scared to death just for my hubby never again, Crabbing cleaned about 4 doz and I have the sores on the finger still and to the Beach the boys loved the body surfing and boogie boarding and of course the tan.  I lost wt on vacation which is a great thing.  I ate all kinds o f foods and if they didnt sit well I would try again later.   My family was very proud of the wt lost and how good I looked.  I went shopping with my sister and I bought clothes in a store I would neverhave shoppped in The New Yorker and bought size 18.  My sister even borrowed some of my clothes which was a very first.  My one sister is still jealous but nothing I can do about it. I spent lots of time with my mother and planted a red rose bush and when we left it was blooming.  I put a wind chime as well because where she is the breeze is nice. My niece Jada did come home with me so I am in heaven with a little girl and we have been shopping and keeping so busy I think I am wiping her out.  The little girl I never had and besides I did it with my other nieces and I have missed it.  I think she will be staying until Gregs graduation from boot camp on Aug 8, 08.  My sister Renee is having a much harder time witht he seperation then Jada is she is texting me everyday.  This is the best break for my sister she needed it.  I know day we left was hard because I left and took Jada and then on Sunday her duagther Angela went off to summer college so yes she had a hard weekend. I couldn' believe I lost wt on vacation the first week there.  I know you don't weigh yourself on vacation but I had to check Iwas hoping to be in onederland when I came home but I have 2 lbs to go.  I feel great and that is all that matters to me right now.  As for work we will see what happens whe the hubby takes care of Jada on fri and sat when I go back to work fun fun. I have missed all my friends here at DS so it will take a while to catch up.  Glad to be back.
