Vacation Plans
I will be leaving in the morning with my two teenagers to show them my hometown of Detroit. Show them where I had to walk 5 miles uphill in the snow to school, nad then 5 more still uphill home. Show them where I used to be a safety boy throwing snowballs at the blind kid in the neighboorhood, you know, Stevie Wonder. Show them where I went to high school and college. Introduce them to my brother that they've never met, and my friends from way back that I am still connected to. Introduce them to my first cousin Miriam who I have never even met (that's a long story). Also introduce them to the drama in my family, who does and doesn't get along, there is no avoiding that. Oh well. We're also going to spend a day at cedar point on the roller coasters, both their favorite things to do. Then the next day in Cleveland at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. So we have lots planned, at least two giant parties, we will be having fun. I'm not sure how or if I'll be able to get to the internet, maybe from my sisters. We'll see. If not, I'll catch all my brothers and sisters here at DS on the other side. In the meantime, I still have a night of music planned tonight, hoping to record it and get something on you tube, one of my goals you know. If I don't talk to you for a week, know I'm thinkin about you, I care, I hope the drama is at a minimum, the fun increases, I hope God protects you and helps you stay strong, and loves you. Peace.
