Hey everyone,
Just wanted to check in on all of you. When I leave home I continue to think of each of you.
We had a good time at the beach. Did not love all the heat from the sun but we were with friends and that makes up for it. The temp was over 100 each day we were there.
We went to the annual Mustang  Week at Mrytle Beach. This was our 4th year and we all stay at a beach resort that is close to the show.  Steve had a ball having his picture taken with the girls from Hooters.  Of course he posted on facebook for all the world to see, good clean fun, he is harmless!  We went down with 15 cars in our caravan and 11 of us won. Pretty good odds with about 500 cars in the show.
I tried really hard to keep him hydrated and cool.  He has a cool rag/contraption that he keeps around his neck. Dipped in the cooler every little while it works wonders.
The good time in the rooms at night is what I like the most.  The fellowship with good friends. The laughter, the jokes and the bragging among the men of who has the best car.
We are so blessed. We praise God every day for his blessings.  Steve will start a new round of Sutent tomorrow.  Number 40. WOW!!  He is on 3 weeks on/ and one week off  and  then starts over!  We have learned to live with this,  is it pleasant?  No! But with the grace of our Heavenly Father we continue on this journey.   Steve is my hero!
Please pray for our friends who are struggling. So many who need encouragement.  God Bless each of you.
Love to each of you,

Wanda..So glad you all had such a wonderful time and that you won! Even with the very hot weather...we had it here in New England but it has finally broken...wishing Steve the best of luck with his treatments and the least amount of discomfort...Hugs, Ellen

I\'m happy that you had a great time at the beach & that your car was one of the winners! Steve is so lucky to have such an understanding wife, getting his photo with the Hooters girls!

Hi Girlfriend!

Your beach trip sounds like it was great fun! Congratulations on all the cars in your group winning. That\'s awesome. I saw one of the pictures of Steve with the \"looker\" on FB. Too cute!

It truly is amazing that Steve will be starting Sutent treatment # 40. I\'m sure the side effects aren\'t fun, but he\'s so blessed that his body allows him to take this fine drug. You remember what happened to Ray after only 14 pills. Ugh!

Take care, dear friend, and continue enjoying life.

My Love,

OOHH Dear Wanda,

Your vacation sounded extrodinary, what a wonderful time to spend with your dear husband and such fun friends.. I was laughing when you explained about Steve having such a good time having his picture taken with all those beautiful girls from hooters !! Of coarse he should post all this on Facebook, it is so good to hear how much fun he had.. Wanda, you are the greast wife, i would love to see your admiring face watching Steve hanging with the guys bragging about thier cars, I would be the same way just to see Tim really letting loose, having such great innocent fun.. I\'m really trying to get Tim to a Red Sox game but for a special surprise i am trying to work something out where Tim can meet and talk with all team for just 15 minutes.. This will be my very special gift to Tim, i truly hope i can get this worked out right.. I am pushing trying to get this set up, but i don\'t know how successful i will be but i am going to keep calling.. It\'s all a secret and Tim will know about the game but he\'ll never know nor suspect anything like time with the players, all i can do is keep trying.. I just need to get to the right person, with hopes i will.. I can imagine how nice it was hanging out at night in the hotel rooms, talking and laughing with such wonderful friends you have !! Congratulations for # 40 too !! Next Monday will be 4 years Tim was first d/x\'ed, gosh when i look back even tho we are where we are today, our relationship is so much better now.. When Tim was d/x\'d this is when he withdrew from our relationship & from so many others things.. I saw my dear man go right into a carcoon and full of so much anger & denial, well i can\'t call Aug 1st an anniversary, i just can\'t.. I will always be grateful for this cancer being found when it was..

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful vacation and, i am so happy for the wonderful time you & Steve shared togeather also sharing it with your such great friends..

My thoughts and prayers are with all of those who are having such a hard time now, i am so full of gratitude, that today Tim is doing better and for being able to be there for others who need so much extra support.. And my dear friends who were right there for us when our life was going so badly.. I can give this back today and this is a gift to help others and be there for all my dear friends..

Love you both,
