Vacation
We're going on vacation tomorrow - your favorite vacation - wish you were coming too. Stephanie said, "this will be our first time ever going anywhere without dad". I'm very nervous - haven't been on a vacation by myself in 30 years - hate to fly too - but I guess I shouldn't worry about that anymore. Remember on our honeymoon we flew Mexicana Airline and they provided free Mexicana beer? I was so nervous I drank my can of beer and switched cans when you turned around to look in the back of the plane and finished off your can before you had even taken a sip. You always drove too - guess there's a first time for everything. I'm paying extra so Robbie can drive and I'm not the only one - although with his accident record that doesn't exactly ease my mind. We'll be thinking of you the whole time and hope you'll be enjoying it along with us. Love ya.

Try to relax and enjoy some time with your children - it only is a blink of the eye and they are gone. I am sure Dave will do just fine, and so will you. You can tell all of us of your adventures when you return.

Oh, the adventure that could be waiting............and if you find it not as exciting as you would have hoped...there\'s always the Mexican beer and a ride with your son driving...(not while drinking the beer though...lol..............)

Have a good time...I took my first vacation only 3 months after losing my dear Buddy...we had already made all the arrangements and bought the tickets and had our time share set up so I went alone...I spent the first week alone and the second week my daughters came...we managed to have a good time...be safe...
I made my first vacation trip in May after Bradley\'s passing. We both wanted to go see our daughter play in the college softball JUCO national tournament in St. George, Utah if the team made it and they did, so I flew out to watch her play from the stands while her father watched from above.
