Using the beauty that God has given me to help others
hello my name is Lyle I am 23 years old I am now in a wheelchair with terminal diseases but let's start off in the beginning I was once an athlete in high school I lifted weights for 4 years straight I was able to build my body to be very very strong but as you guys know everything doesn't go to plan. so senior year in track and field about the end of the track and field year I started feeling weird so we went to the doctors to get a check up just to find out that in that time period where I felt invincible. I was wrong because after very many tests they found out that I had lost 50% of my lungs and that's just the beginning so we also found out that I have dermatomyositis which is a muscle and skin inflammation disease on top of that I have an autoimmune disorder which means that my body thinks I'm sick and tries to deteriorate me from the inside out. now you might be thinking oh boy he's gotta be very sad but you're wrong because OHSU I got admitted because my body was failing so they pumped me full of IV steroids which in return did nothing for me. but one night as my body was seizing up from spasms I actually flatlined and died and while the doctors we're trying to bring me back I got to go to heaven and the time I spent there was a lot longer then the actual time it took the doctors to bring me back. Heaven itself I could try to explain but it doesn't matter it would never equal to heaven a huge angel had this book in his lap he was turning the pages and he stopped and he said are you Lyle Romans. and I said yes and he smiled any told me it's not your time yet just then I was back in the hospital bed back at horrible pain butt a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders and to this day I try to make every single day to be able to make someone smile or laugh yes this body is getting very close to being done but until I take my last breath I will continue trying to help others thank you
