Useless thing

As I have grown over the years and became increasingly reflective due to my isolation, I began to understand the nature of the world and our place in it. It's a fact that people will either deny or outright ignore, but we are slaves trapped in a "matrix." People like to talk about the "system" and how they want to rebel against it for whatever reason (usually as a way to seek attention or make money), but the sad truth is that the "system" is a real thing and is the greatest deception of our time. The system being the monetary system, we as a society have been rendered as wage slaves to the point where if we don't submit to employment, we are deemed as utter scum not worthy of food, shelter, or medical care. This is all too apparent in my case as a person who has dreams and hopes and wishes yet will never see any of them fulfilled. I will likely never escape my parents' basement because I am virtually unemployable. Most jobs stress me out to the point where I can't continue even though I would like to. And jobs that require social interaction (which are well over 90%) are out of the question. So what am I to do? Because I am not a completely non-verbal, non-functioning autistic person, I am ineligible for aid. I am perpetually stuck leeching off my parents who hate me (and the feeling is mutual) in a town where nothing happens with no friends and relationships. I watch my sister and all my former friends go off and get married and have kids and do the "right thing" as deemed by our society while I am treated like the social retard that I am. Lost and forgotten...the freak in the basement.
