Used my Willpower at the Food Bank today!!!
I find it even tougher to resist unwise food choices at the Food Bank than at the supermarket. Food costs so much at the supermarket that cost alone is a deterrent. But I only pay $3.00 for the Food Bank. It's harder to turn down free or very low-cost food.
My weight is up a little because of poor choices I made for a few weeks at Food Bank. Even brought home my nemesis, peanut butter. Had to toss most of it to avoid eating it.
Today I successfully WALKED PAST the peanut butter, the Chips Ahoy! chocolate chip cookies, and the donuts! WAY TO GO, JUDY! JUST KEEP ON WALKING!!
Generally speaking, Food Bank food isn't the best for dieters. It tends to be higher in sugar, high fructose corn syrup, sodium, and saturated fat. But at least I can avoid the WORST STUFF, my trigger foods like peanut butter and cookies/cakes.
I STILL NEED A WEIGHT LOSS BUDDY FOR MARCH. Preferably a woman over 50 who is doing the old, original Weight Watchers Points.
I am setting up a goal on DS to journal my food intake every day in March and post it.
thanks.

Great effort on passing up the bad foods at the food bank. AND tossing the peanut butter! That must have been a hard toss as I know how much you like PB.
I am doing the PointPlus Plan and will buddy if you do not find someone doing the old plan. We can make it work - mixing the old and the new! Send me a message if you still need a buddy!
Love ya JM
PB may not be on weight watchers but it is a good source of protein. When I eat it I stay at a 2tsp and that\'s all.
Read up on mufa foods.
Gosh, how could I forget this???? Besides walking by the peanut butter, cookies, and donuts, I passed up a SIXTEEN INCH PIZZA! That half KILLED ME!
Good exercise walking past all those goodies. I eat peanut butter but usually only one tsp. Not much I know but it does help me with the craving for it.
