Ups and Downs
I know all too well that we all have our ups and downs. I have been lucky that each day is a little better. Work with boss today was very good. I still had too much to do and play catch up, but we talked about sis and his experiences with nursing homes and his mother in law. Also worked over the schedule. Things went ok.
Tomorrow I am going to go see Sis.

glad the boss was decent to you today....also glad you had a better day....hopefully sis condition does not pull down your mood today....or should I say pulled down your mood.....it has passed that you have gone to visit her....I briefly visited my sis in rehab last night before dinner with the two gals.....she is showing signs of dementia and Dad died of Alzheimer disease.....
my birthday was fun texting with you in middle of wee hours....LOL I did happen to be awake when the text old horn noise came thru....I am like who the hell was that? LOL yup.....if only the birthday cake had come by Fedex not Text X.....LOL

Hugs to you. A lot of people are stressed out lately and I am finding them being "out of character" I guess you'd say.
Please let us know how your sister is. You are such a good sister!

Thank you all for hugs and concern. Sis is doing much better than I expected. It is still hard to see her looking sad and lost, but she does perk up while we are there. I am hoping they will get her out to some activities too. I also find it very funny that she has trouble remembering, yet after lunch she got up and checked her drawer and very happily came across a bag from trick or treating in the unit with her new stash of Hershey bars (small and med size) Frank talker her into just one little one (But I expect after he goes she may just have another.. lol) Her friends have been reaching out and are also planning visits.
that is good because usually friends disappear the moment they set foot into retirement homes....glad you enjoyed your visit with her...
