Uplifting Quotes - This will be a place I keep them for future viewing
"I keep the telephone of my mind open to peace, harmony, health, love and abundance. Then, whenever doubt, anxiety or fear try to call me, they keep getting a busy signal - and soon they'll forget my number." ~ Edith Armstrong"Life is too short to spend your precious time trying to convince a person who wants to live in gloom and doom otherwise. Give lifting that person your best shot, but don’t hang around long enough for his or her bad attitude to pull you down. Instead, surround yourself with optimistic people." Zig Ziglar "Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy. " Dale Carnegie "As fear is close companion to falsehood, so truth follows fearlessness." Jawaharlar Nehru "Whatever you fear most has no power; it is your fear that has the power." Oprah Winfrey "Like dark clouds that cover the sun's light from shining through, so it is with fears that cover the natural light of your inner courage from shining through. Gabriel Daniels "instead, focus on understanding yourself...Change the way you choose to perceive the power that others have over you and you will see a bright new world of unlimited potential for yourself...Dismiss any desire to extend power over others through the forceful nature of your actions and your personality...Catch yourself as you're about to tell others how they 'should' be...Notice how often you attempt to use verbal force to convince others to listen to you...When your judgments dominate, the flow of the Tao slows." exerpted from Wayne Dyer's book, Change Your Thoughts Change Your Life!

this is the way forward for me also, thank you for sharing
thanks. needed that. fear. never remembered it being so strong. illness = vulnerability and dependence for me i think. things i don\'t want. and we all have. i imagine it was always in me but hidden deep down. give it sun and air and it might just shrink up. people do things in fear that are against their best interests. all the time. what work did you or do you do? one of my grown daughters is chair in a big college in boston. one is home depressed, one son is a rabbi and one is a d.j. and i am trying to get out of myself.
My main job over the years was a stay@home mom. However, when I did work it would be at our church or their school. Sometimes for money, sometimes for volunteer.
I also picked up some work marketing/advertising group ticket sales for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus and Disney On Ice for 4 years.
Both my kids have graduated college and work in this area (Metro-Atlanta). My son lives in the basement until he can find a friend who also has a steady job to get an apartment with.
My husband has been very supportive of me over the years dealing with anxiety. He\'s more introverted and can travel and go out to eat and be entertained through work so I think I don\'t hold him back. That is sometimes a guilt I can feel.
Great advice! Thanks for sharing.
