I bit the bullet and decided to pay 50.00 more a month to have a lake view from my balcony. If I'm going to be there for 11 months I'd like at least a place that I can enjoy and sitting on that balcony every morning watching the birds and the wind blow thru the trees and ducks were worth it. I also found furniture and will go pick it up tonight. I've got a couc h, a rug and a coffee table. The coffee table has damage on top but I'm going to stencil a design on top to help cover it.
Work continues to cause anxiety for me but I try not to let it bother me. I've decided I might invest and have someone look at my resume so that I can start applying elsewhere. If you dont want the stress then you've got to take measures to change it. I know this because I use to love that job and now I just wait around in the morning at home with coffee feeling dread of going. With the moving and reestablishing myself, that anxiety just takes the wind out of my sails.
Not much going on here...which is a good thing. I need to get a good book and start reading again...
To all a happy Wednesday!

Like you I felt stressed just getting up in the morning and this led to a serious drug and alcohol addiction. As I got older, the work became too stressful for my body since there was alot heavy repetitive lifting involved......It wasn't until after I went through outpatient treatment that I did the smart thing and quit the job that was causing me so much physical pain and anxiety. On the day I quit, it was like a huge load had been lifted off my shoulders....such a relief!
God Bless
You're going to love having a balcony. We live in the city near the river, and we sit out on our balcony daily (except in winter). We can see the river and it's just nice to have a little outdoor area to hang out and relax. It's such a simple pleasure.
My focus has gone from furnishing the house to the balcony. I'll probably spend 75% of my time at home there.
