Updates updates!

Wow....I feel like so much time has passed without me checking in!  Where do I begin???
The holidays were good....spent Xmas eve and some of Xmas day by myself.  That's sad to me...Kyle went with Steve for Xmas eve and then ended up coming home around noon on Xmas day.  We cooked out and he left to head back to Michigan since he had to work the next day.  I went over to Jan's and had a drink with her and her family so that was nice.  Then Friday I took the Amtrak to Dee Dee's....what an adventure but all is good!  She was waiting for me....just like Nannie and Nono use to!  It was a good weekend....Aunt Renee was around so spent some time with her...went to Grafton on Sunday to a winery and spent the day there....so fun!
New Year's eve was amazing!  The group that I joined was so great and they all welcomed me with open arms!  I am so glad from the bottom of my heart and very blessed that I found these folks!  I don't think that I sat down all night!  Just danced and danced and danced...so great!  My roommate was so sweet...Laura.  Everyone was just so much fun!  Met a few really great guys...ended up going out with one this past weekend...Jeff.  So we shall see what happens there...
This weekend is another meetup at Mullens in Naperville.  Dinner and dancing and a hat party!  Looking forward to it....
Life is not back to where it was with Lauren.....they still won't allow me to watch the children.  Her mother-in-law was here again for another week and spent time with the kids so not sure why that is and not me....HMM?  And we are all heading to Florida in March so I feel like this needs to be resolved before then....
