Updates- not bad
I lost a few lbs last week. 7 days binge free. Journaling every day on Fitday program helps. Really shooting for 1400 calories per day and burning 2000. Getting enough water remains a challenge. The ice in the street melted enough that I was finally able to take Kona for a walk yesterday in the daylight. we won't have sidewalks for a while but I can walk around the neighborhood in the street finally. So we went for a 21 minute walk yesterday. I also did an hour on Wii Walk It Out. I think I will go to the Y and go to Zumba today.
I am mixing regular and decaf coffee 1/2 and 1/2 to try to cut back on the caffeine. I have had a few panic attacks over the last couple of weeks. Yesterday late afternoon was really scary and I had to take another Xanax. I think part of it is hormones. I just got over TOM and I always get emotional in the beginning. I wanted to cry yesterday afternoon and can't figure out why? I did have night sweats one night this week. Again, maybe this is peri menopause kicking in? Also, I haven't taken my vitamins for the last 2 weeks and maybe that is contributing. So this week's focus: eat healthy, get some water, take my vitamins, exercise. It was bad yesterday: nausea, stomach pain, dizziness, tingly and then full fledged panic attack.
This weekend I feel very overwhelmed for whatever reason and that is kind of shutting me down. I pray that some Sunshine and warmth helps me in that area. I don't know how else to fix the problem. I think I will take a day or two off work soon. I get like 30 personal/vacation days. I am trying to wait for a nice day. I am also continuing to pray that David continues to get his act together. So far so good. I took him to karate yesterday and we went to McDonalds for lunch after and had a good talk. Fingers and toes crossed that maturity begins to kick in.
Amazing to believe I hit 3 years on DS a few days ago! Have a great Valentine's Day! Going to be a BUSY week for me I am afraid. Watching all of the fires on the news this AM and dreading tomorrow. I will do my best to keep up with everyone. Take care!

I always love your journals, you inspire me so much. You take charge and get the job done no matter what gets in your way. You are doing great. You are really kicking butt with those steps. Yes, sunshine and snow melting today, hope it continues, the temps are supposed to be up so it helps a lot in our attitudes. Hope you feel better and get some time off very soon when you can. Yes, I\'d wait for the perfect day when you can be out to take time off. We are ready for a vaction, been since Oct. 08, ouch..... with everything that\'s going on, it\'s hard to go anywher, new house, new job, dogs..... ugh. Hubby\'s barn gets started on Monday already! Lots goingon always. Best wishes for David, know he will get there. Glad you are having some good days with him and talking, he knows how much you care. The other days I don\'t think he realizes when he\'s having a bad day, forgets to think about all the good stuff and focuses on the bad. Patience, and you have it. Great job on a week down on binges, its tough but it can be done with determination. Have a Happy V Day!!!
I bet that walk felt good to both you and Kona even if it was in the street.
Sounds like you had a lovely weekend. I agree with the panic attack being hormonal.
Walk and Wii good for you... Zumba too... oh my
Keep up the great job. Good luck with this week and all the fires.
Happy Valentines day to you too. :)
P.S. Congrats. on the 7 binge free days
