Update....ultrasound 37 weeks
Well as you all know I had an appointment Monday plus an ultrasound to check on Braydens measurements since I've been measuring 40 weeks for the last month. We had the ultrasound first and he is getting SOOOOOOo big. According to them I should have been 36w 4d with a due date of March 19th (they are still going with the original due date) and now by ultrasound I'm more like 38 weeks. Hes so squished in there its actually kind of sad. Everything is growing and hes weighing in at.......................drum roll.............7lbs 13ozs. Now I've been told that ultrasounds arent very accurate and I'm praying its off by atleast a little bit. My doctor said shes not going to take him early but more than likely he'll have to come by c-section. Shes going to do another ultrasound on March 16th if I make it that far because since the beginning my due date has been March 17th (by ultrasound). She said she wants to do one more ultrasound to determine if she will forsure have to do a c-section. She said sometimes babies will grow more and more then kind of level out and stay that way. While others keep going up. She said that if hes one that keeps going up then I will definatley have to have a c-section. She said she wouldnt even question it if he gets above a certain weight. So now I'm just trying to mentally prepare myself and my husband for a c-section. It looks like thats how my big boy will come into this world. I'm not really scared just trying to figure out how everythings going to take place after...such as sleeping (because our bedroom is up a flight of stairs and our bathroom and on the main floor), caring for the baby since you cant pick up much after a c-section, breastfeeding, etc....just stuff like that. As of now I'm not scared of the actual procedure. Im praying that since he thinks hes already 38 weeks he'll come within the next 2 weeks instead of waiting 3 or 4 more weeks. Im also praying he doesnt come out 12lbs lol. I'm just joking as long as hes healthy thats all that matters but still a 12lb baby......oh my! LoL. Well I guess thats about it for now. Can you believe my "little" baby is almost 8lbs.!!!! Its crazy! I hope he fits in his coming home outfit we have for him. Its SOOOOOOO cute! Its all west virginia university. I'll have to take some pictures of it and post on here where you guys can see it. I'll also try to get some new belly pic up. You can only imagine how big it is now. Well I better go. Hugs Monica.

WOW almost 8lbs that\'s insane! I know how you feel about wondering if you have to have a c-section what you\'re going to do afterwards, my bedroom and bathroom is upstairs as well. I\'m sure everything will be fine though, even if you have to have a c-section I think that it will surprise you. I can\'t believe how big your little man is!!!!
wow how big! soon his here :)
Awww, a sweet big boy! Good luck with the delivery and recovery. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I had big babies too. My daughter was 8lbs 5oz and my son was 8lbs 12oz. I had a veru difficuly vaginal with my daughter which resulted in a NICU stay for her and a planned c-section for my son. I have to tell you considering the horrible episiotomy I had with my first the c-section wasn\'t that bad. You can lift the newborn even if he is large I just wasn\'t allowed to lift anything over 15-20 lbs. As for stairs just try to limit the times you go up and down. Make sure you have everything set up downstairs in the am so you don\'t have to go back up and the same at night. If you are planning and bottle feeding pack a cooler with a few bottle and a bottle warmer so you don\'t have to go down for late night feedings. Either way it will be fine and the most important thing is a healthy baby. As for me at 26 weeks my little guy was 2lbs 2 oz already and that is way ahead. My next appt is tomorrow.
I am so happy for you and your big little man. I bet you can\'t wait.
Yay for your big little man!!!! Sounds like he\'s healthy and just getting ready to join us out here!! I love it! I hope that all goes well these next couple of weeks. Good luck hun!!!!
You are doing a great job baby growing my friend. I think it is awesome!! I would do the same, prepare for a c section and you will be ready for anything coming your way!
