Update - u/s today 23w4d

I went this morning for another u/s and visit with my doc.  The u/s tech was so amazed by her feet that she took more still shots of her feet than of her!  She couldn't believe how big her feet are! They measured at 5 cm long and she only weighs 1 lb. 4 oz!  Not surprising since daddy wears a size 15 and I wear a size 10.  Poor girl.  I do hope she grows into her feet eventually.  She was also bent in half and sucking on one of her knee caps and had her toes resting on her forehead!  The u/s tech was like "I don't get it, she has so much room in there, why would she be so curled up like this?"  I guess she's comfy that way.  So all her meausrements came out normal.  Her head and body measure exactly to date, except her arms and legs are about a week ahead of schedule. No surprise there again.  She's in the 55th percentile.  I didn't know they did percentiles with babies still in the womb????  Interesting.  Every single time I get an u/s, I leave there and just pinch myself that all this is really happening.  I just can't believe we will be holding our little girl in less than 4 months, possibly a little over 3 months OMG!  Sometimes I just stop and feel tears well up because reality sets in.  I got out of my car last night and her crib which needs to be put together is sitting inside our garage.  I just looked at it and thought of her sleeping in it and I teared up.  It's so amazing!

Saturday I finally registered at Babys R Us with my two closest mommy girlfriends.  At first I felt guilty about not taking Ian, but afterward, I realized that I could have never done that without my gf's and all their advice.  Besides, Ian would have NEVER lasted that long.  He would have made it halfway and wanted to leave.  I know him.  We were there for 3 1/2 hours!  OMG we were all exhausted!  They even were losing interest in the end.  I had to end up getting online and tweeking it a bit because I just starting shooting that gun at anything near the end.  And my goal was to not have too much.  But the problem is now that I'm on there everyday wondering if I need to register for more.  I've even gotten on other people's registries to see what they've registered for.  It's a problem.  I need help.  I need to get off that web site! I can't imagine how I'll be once those shower invitations go out Lord help me!

The last update is that this little girl is kicking up a storm!  I almost wonder if she ever sleeps!  It's just so amazing how I'm feeling every movement now.  It's definitely more than just flutters now.  Most of the time I can tell where she is by those kicks.  Ian has felt them too and is so amazed.  Yesterday was the first time she was actually a little calm.  Very little kicking.  But as soon as I laid down for bed, daddy put his hand on my belly and she starting kicking like crazy.  Then he put his face to my belly and talked to her and she moved even more!  Not sure if it was a fluke or that she really is stimulated by daddy's touch and voice.  I want to believe the latter.  So amazing!  Again, I feel so blessed to be able to finally experience all this and it's all that I dreamed of and more.
