update on what I've been doing
I am doing a job for a church down in texas. I did a part of it a few months ago but what I am doing now is and add-on. It is a long board covered in teak with the stations of the cross along it framed in Rosewood Cocobolo. I will show photos of it when completed.
I am doing the work at costs because I grew up Catholic, went to a parochial school and although I seldom attend Mass anymore, I still have a fondness for the church. I remember being taught by the nuns, being in the church choir of which the high point was singing at Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve! Those are just a few of my many fond memories.
The guy doing the work wanted me to send him a bill and I told him to just say a prayer for me instead....for business, because it was extremely slow at the time. The following day, I was flooded with orders! I just got caught up a few days ago.
I was feeling a little discouraged because business was slow again, but I realized, I was all caught up with my bills and even had a little ahead. I think God was giving me a much needed break!
I have been able to do a little cleaning in my shop and I have been running more. I am up to 4-5 miles a day now. I love how it makes me feel after a long run. I have alot more energy now because of the exercise and I tend to pray while I run....usually for people here on ds who are hurting in some way.
So life is good for now....my health is good.....got the results of my recent blood tests back and for the first time in a long time, the dr had written "excellent" on the report card I got in the mail. So that means that the colesterol medication is working. The dosage has been increased or changed 3 times, I think.
It has been hot here these last few days. They say, "You have to be a lizard to live in a Maine summer, and a polar bear to live in a Maine winter!" I believe that!
Later this evening when it gets cooler, I will hit the pavement. I have a brand new pair of new balance sneakers and they serve their purpose well.

I love how the universe works. You gave of yourself and you received much more abundantly! Thank you for your prayers, as well. Please run for the both of us. I\'ve never been able to run and always wanted to. Now that I\'m not so \"chesty\" after my reduction, I\'m mostly in a wheelchair when I\'m out of the house, but I\'m running right there beside you in spirit, Bob.
