Update on the whole \"this is my life\" thing

My daughter, my son, and I seem to be doing OK.   The stbx seems to be losing it big time.  We went before the judge and agreed, swore, to uphold the temporary order. I have been living up to my part, but she seems to think she doesn't have to do what she agreed to.  My atty thinks she is off her meds (if she would take meds maybe things woudn;t be so bad), and her atty told her she has to live up to the agreement, or we would have to have another hearing, that she would lose, and that she would be liable for all my expenses for the hearing.  So we'll see. I'm going to have to move. Today I sent a letter saying I am giving up this condo. I love this place, it is so nice, in a nice area, on a lake, safe and scenic.. But with the alimony I am now paying I can't afford it. The lease ends end of July, and I found a place near the school my daughter wishes to attend, so I am going to go sign for that place soon.   The hose is a bad topic. We have had terrivle rain storms lately, and the outside stucco is damamged, cracked, and is leaking.  The insurance has denied the claim, and the house builder is in bankruptcy. So we are facing a $22K repair, and no money and no insurance. So maybe foreclosure, and losing all the money we put down (1/2 the value of 3 years ago).  So that is not great. My son is graduationg HS this coming week. He is graduating summa cum laude, total honors, and is going to the University of Florida.  He has rented an apartment, and will be moving in August 1, the same day I need to move.  A couple of years ago I had money saved for him, but now, after not working for a year, and then taking a job at 1/2 the pay, I have no savings left. So he is going to have to work, and take out student loans.  Not what I envisioned for him, or for me, but that is the reality of the moment.  I love him, I respect him, and I pray that he makes it on his own, as his dad can't help financially. Tomorrow morning I will be playing music in church, at our normal Sunday service, for the first time.  We started getting the praise and worship band together about a year ago, but we have had all sorts of things get in the way.  But now we are alomist ready to go, and tomorrow I will be playing bass, our leader guitar and singing, and his wife singing as well. Our new drummer doesn't know the songs yet, but we are practicing.  I have played in church a few times and have loved it, but never at a Sunday morning service. I am so looking forward to this, I wish I could convey to you exactly what this means to me.  Let me try. There has been so much going on in my life. The stbx trying to fight me every step of the way. My job, reporting to a new boss has been stressful, but I have been doing a very good job.  My personal disappointment in not being able to help my son more.  My health, well I have had a few problems there.  And I have gotten down.  MEntally.  When that happens, I have found that reading my bible helps lift my spirits. Its like God comforts me when I am in the Word, and I enjoy that time, and the learning.  I so respect my Pastor, and several of my brothers and sisters at church, I love going and feeling more fulfilled. Even though I don't feel completely righteous, like I'm faking it or something.  but one day, I know, I'll feel completely at ease and comfortable.  So, that's it for now.  I hope you're all well, and have a wonderful Memorial Day.
