Update on Peru goal

Right now, I have let my church know about my intentions.  All I ask for is prayer that this will bring the glory to God and that through my ministry, it will serve Him.  Thank you.

You are constantly in my prayers PenguinPeru.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart & lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge the Lord & He will direct your paths.
Proverbs 3 v 5 - 6
May God richly bless you in the ministry.

Right now, I\'m doing a little better than yesterday. I had a big problem because a major door to my short-term missions trip was closed yesterday and right now I\'m praying fervently for the Lord to use me there. Right now, my finances for the trip has been bad and I have a deadline coming up very soon.
So, although this is a big mountain that looks enormous right now, I\'m just letting the Lord do what He chooses. What I need is wisdom and financial support for this trip.

Well, for some reason today, it\'s like I feel much better and way less bitter than I did five to six days ago. I know God has a hand in my life and is leading me away from my disappointment. I will continue to pray for this trip and that most importantly, whatever happens, it will be a blessing.

The Lord works in ways we don\'t expect and I know whatever the Lord has in store for me is the best for me in the future. Love you all and God bless.

I am praying that you are able to find a way to do the missionary work.

Early today, I heard about Bob who is a member of our church being found dead in his house. (see Christian Fellowship for details). It was pretty sad, but despite that, I changed my mood from bad to O.K. I know he served the Lord and accepted Him, so he\'s up in heaven.

Right now, I am thankful this Christmas. I am thankful for my family and you all here on DS. I am also thankful that there are people who are praying for my ministry. Right now, this trip is still up in the air and I\'m just asking God and knowing if it\'s in His will, I will be going no matter what. Some things might be clicking, but I\'ll never know until the final result.

Anyway, yes, there have been rocky times and I\'m going to trust the Lord no matter what because in the end, no matter what happens here, we win with the Lord in our lives.
