Update on NS

After all this time I finally had my appointment with the NS ,that my pain doc recomended . Had to drive 92 miles and wait in the office for 3 1/2 hours but did get in . He had 2 assistants with him and he ran me through the usual prelimanary test , you know pushing pullin squeese this ,hammer the knees ,wrist ,elbows ,ankles . Then he ask me what I needed ? I went through what myNS inDenver had suggested about getting a NS close to where I moved and what was going on with me and the pain . He was interested in everything that has happened to me since moving . And then it came down to what I expected him to do reguarding my case . It was great . He listened . Then he said that he needs me to send him some of my other MRI`s so that he can compare them with my last one to make sure the Syrnx`s (3) are not growing . I told him if it would help I would find all 14 or 15 of them and send them to him . He was astounded that I have had so many . I had that many because not many doctors actually know what SM is and seems like every doctor wanted new MRI`s . I usually take the last 2 or 3 MRI`s to doctors meetings but some how we have misplaced them in the moves that we have made .I know we have them it is just finding them .But any way we will find them and send them to him so he can compair them to the last one .He does want to see me agian and has told me as soon as he see`s the old MRI`s he will let me know what to do ,or if he needs to see me right away .Finally someone that maybe can help .
