Update on my real life
Well, we have gotten past most of the big events and time keeps rolling on.
First there was Holy Week and Easter which turned out to be a really big corner turning event for me. I knew it was gonna be a big deal because of what I was doing the Easter before, right before DDAY.
Then my daughters wedding!
Then there was 1 yr DDAY
Then our 30th anniversary
Then a couple of other church events
Then Mothers Day
Immediately followed by my grandsons birthday
A LOT of senior events concerning our son
Then graduation!
Allow me a little brag time, he graduated with many honors and lots of awards and it was mega exciting. He won the John Phillips Sousa award in band and just got a one at State solo contest! So Awesome!
Sat my daughter and her new family are moving 11 hrs away and I am excited for them but my heart is breaking in two. (cry cry cry) This is very hard. We are so close and swore we would never live far apart and they are wanting to start having kids right away. On the other hand they plus her best friend and little boy have been living with us (cramped space) for almost half a year and it will be nice to get our house back.
There is a 6 yr old boy living with us and we thought his mom would be in a position to take him back by the time our daughter left but it doesn't look like this will be the case so we have to decide how best to handle this.
Over the summer we will be working on getting our son off to college and all that that entails. Much of it is already done but there is oh so much more.
We will soon be telling our college bound son about my A's and I am very nervous about that but I feel we really must do it considering that he already knows a lot and we want him to have the truth. Not what he manages to piece together and fill in the rest himself.
We need to work on helping our 24 yr old bi-polar son find some independance and with a lot of the other things simmering down we plan to work on that a bit more.
Through all of this we have continued to work on the rebuilding while I have continued to work on myself. Cole is still unemployed and the finances are a continual balancing act with all of this going on. I am working my head off.
Well, that about does it. That's where things stand at this juncture. Cole and I are gonna go to the gym now and swim and sit in the hot tub. It may be because of our nightly swim and hot tub sessions that we still have our sanity. That and lots of prayer....and lots of good sex, Lol.

Well sometimes busy is good, but not too busy! Good luck with the 6 year old boy, and that situation, as well as your 24 yr. old son which sounds like a challenge, in itself! Good for you, hitting the club w/ Cole. Has any of his writing come to fruition yet? Any plans for publishing soon? That would be a real nice way for him to be blessed, and help out a lot w/ the finances! He\'ll feel better, and so will you, so you can chill a bit more!
Some interesting developments on that front with Cole. He has recently published another book that he had previously written and recently edited it to publish.
As you may know he has not been able to write creatively since DDAY :-( Only edit. He has recently told me that he feels he is getting very near to being able to write again. He has a definite association between writing and my A\'s since it was because of his absorption in writing that we were so disconnected and he was so clueless to what he believes he should have seen.
Also, Cole and I have been uniting in many areas of our lives like never before including financial. We have kept our finances very separate but that has changed. Very significant.
Another thing is that we are discussing VERY seriously joining together to grow my business and make it a family business. We discussed this earlier and he was against it but now he is the one suggesting it. I am for it. I think we have created a plan by which it could work.
I love him so much and the progress we have made this year is astonishing. Both individually and as a couple. I am thankful. So thankful.
