Update on my Health

I've been referred to an endocrinologist. I haven't got an appointment yet but I did get test results back with extremely high cortisol levels. Which is what the book the hormone cure said. I've been taking supplements suggested in the book so that I don't have to suffer until my next appointment. I researched all the vitamins on web md first. WebMD is great, it lists interactions with other drugs, side effects, and amount of testing a drug or vitamin has undergone.

I'm feeling a little better. Vitamins help me sleep and not wake up with my adrenal glands burning and spasming. I still get tired alot but not as bad. I'm just holding out until I get a doc appt.

I probably won't be on here so don't worry. Talking about what is going on makes me more stressed out. Good news is I got a bonus at work and my fiance got a huge raise and a promotion.

Bad News is my grandma died. She isn't my blood relative, but the only person I ever called grandma. Her funeral is next week. I just need to spend time with friends and family.

My fiance is being really patient and supportive with my health issues. After my test results and referral he is being much more helpful and mindful. I'm surprised how understanding he is. I wouldn't be able to deal with me right now.

I'm still having alot of pain issues, still reading alot, making money off my garden. I will be ok.

Just wanted to check in.

No I have a friend I talked to last week about what is going on with me. She has Lupus. She said when she was first diagnosed she had issues with high cortisol and her adrenal glands. but she also told me that since I got much worse after taking Prednisone, that I may just need some shots to get me back on track.
Good news is the vitamins I'm taking help alot.
I've always taken a super b complex in the morning and 100 mg L-theanine. I now take 200 mg L-theanine in the morning, 500mg pantothenic acid, my usual b complex. In the afternoon I take an additional 200mg of L-theanine, another pantothenic acid, and one L-arginine. I'm also experimenting with 500mg twice a day of L-tyrosine.
I feel a lot less brain fog and fatigue. I finally got an appointment with the endocrinologist but not until October. The vitamins can help me keep my job until then. I have way too much to do and no help. I take 5htp before bed to help me sleep. Usually it helps but the night before last I woke up an hour early with burning and spasms on the right side of my back and feeling panicked.

Ok so vitamins stopped helping with emotional control. It's hard not to cry most of the time. It's very embarrassing.
I went to see my regular doctor again Thursday and told her how hard it is to just get up and go to work or go to the store, do household chores. I have extreme depression. She had me fill out some questionnaires and said she thinks I have a bit of anxiety too. I told her how worried I am about having Lupus or something really bad wrong with me. She told me it's very unlikely I have Lupus and that I probably need some shots and I will be fine, but that will take time to diagnose and treat the cause. For now she is treating symptoms until I see the specialist in October. She prescribed me Lexapro for depression and buspirone for anxiety. It's also an antihistamine and helps alot with my allery headaches I've been having.
I hope I feel better soon. I'm still depressed and crying alot.

I've been sick. At first I thought I had a bad reaction to the meds my doc put me on temporarily until I get some help for this endocrine/adrenal gland problem. I stopped taking the meds and still sick. I think I picked up a stomach bug. I felt a bit better yesterday and went to an event I've been looking forward to for months. It was cut short because I had to take my fiance with me. He stayed up all night the night before so he slept in the car then got car sick and was cranky and hateful the whole time and made me leave early. He complained about not having any weed and even had the audacity to beg cash off me for drugs! He acts so disoriented every time we go somewhere. I'm starting to think he is doing more than weed. Whatever he is doing seems to be costing about $40 a pop. Does anybody know what kind of drugs that is?

God when is it going to end? I still feel so fat and awful. I'm gaining so much weight. It's too hot to do anything. I'm so tired. I feel better some days and actually manage to do housework. I have work planned for this weekend. I hope I can finally check it off my list. My right adrenal gland cramps worse than the left usually. If I exercise too much it raises my cortisol too much. I have to stick with walking and stretches. It makes me so mad. I hate feeling weak and sick all the time. I used to lift weights, go on runs, kickbox, yoga. Classes at the gym. I cared about what I put into my body, but also what I was getting out of my body, like the amount of work, joy, and compliments my body got me. Now I don't recognize myself.
I see the endocrinologist in 3 weeks. I just hope and wish and beg that they can give me some answers and help me.

Endocrinologist didn't go well. He seemed to think I was just fat and lazy.
So I went back to my regular doctor. I've been much worse lately and feels like one of my ovaries cramping and the pain in my back worse.
The endocrinologist ordered some tests run but told me he doubted they would show anything. I told my doctor and she did more tests and a pelvic exam. I have to get an ultrasound and salivary test tonight. A cat scan Thursday. Another test next week. I hope they get to the bottom this. I'm sick of being tired, in pain, and nauseous.

Got more test results today. My ultrasound came back normal. They said no enlarged organs or tumors. I get a cat scan done Thursday and another cortisol test next week. I guess if all that comes back normal I will either be sent to a urologist or a psychologist. Idk why I'm in so much pain or why my stress hormones are so high.
The ultrasound was nerve wracking. At one point I even thought I was pregnant.
I had a bad experience getting an ultrasound when I was a kid. I had to re live that yesterday. It was horrible trying to block out the flashbacks. But maybe I got some closure. It was the same room as before and the same fat old dyke doing the exam. It hurt but I got to see that the traumatic experience I had when i was a kid wasn't as bad as being with a man. I mean it's disgusting and degrading and I still consider it rape, but I've been thru worse abuse.
Anyway no one other than 2 friends at work asked me how it went or wanted to know my test results. My mom is so self absorbed and seems to delight in telling me horrific things that might be wrong with me. Maybe she is teasing idk. I don't really have that sense of humor. I don't understand how saying hurtful things to someone is funny.
My fiance doesn't listen. He doesn't ever seem to understand what is going on with me or care about tests and doc appt. He doesn't even remember I've been to one or what for.
I just feel like no one cares about me. They just expect me to keep going on and not be in pain, keep up the housework, start slaving soon as I get home cleaning up after my mom. She orders me around like a servant and expects dinner on the table within minutes of me walking in the door.
I am in so much pain and he won't help me. I doubt it would be different if we moved out tho he says he doesn't do anything because he doesn't want to help my mom.
