update on my health

i am felling better i am walking three times a day down my hall way three times which amount to nine times. since i have been doing that my blood sugar is running normal. i am mad at the va i couldn't sleep only a little bit in a chair. i throw up blood with my walking pnemonia. the va would not put me in to the hospital. it is terrible one fights for their country and we veterns get treated like shit by the va. president obama wants better service for us veterns and the republicans say their is nothing wrong with the way we are treated. as a democrat i voted more repulican than for follow democrats because i thought they were better for us veterns. i would not vote for a good for nothing republican again any one with any brains know that are goverment treats us veterns like shit. the va is in with the drug companys all they know is to put you on pills. my medicine sheet of meds i am on is three pages long. how can any one say their isn't something wrong with the way the va hospital treats us. they are trying to kill us so they have no veterns to take care of.

Is there some IA agency you can report this VA clinic to? Other VA clinics seem to be just the oposite. I can\'t speak from any first had experience but other\'s on here have posted raving reviews. Maybe we need to find someone that can effect some results. IA governor, maybe?

It\'s been awhile since I\'ve been here.... a lot going on but I wanted to respond to your post. Do you mind if I ask you a question? Are you service connected? If so, does your service connection include issues pertaining to your blood sugar?

I have a reason for asking these questions. If you are a Vietnam Vet and have type 2 or worse, you are automatically accepted as it being service connected.

There are a lot of things you can do but you have to know how to process everything and there are agencies that will help you at no cost.

I know of many Vietnam Vets that are receiving benefits, monthly compensation, medical and many other things but the VA Hospital doesn\'t tell you about it - that\'s not there job.

If you have any questions, I can point you in the right direction. When you put your life on the line to protect our freedom and have emotional or physical problems due to your time in combat, it is your right to certain services.

You deserve it! You should accept it or for that matter, demand it.

Let me know if you want information on it.

Hi Sir, our thoughts and prayers are with you all. we\'re so very happy, and thankful that you are feeling better, and are continuing to take very good care. :) we hope and pray, for continued comfort, healing, and peace, and hopefully the va will treat you all better. You all deserve the very best proper care, and they definitely need to begin making sure that all Vets, are well taken care of. please keep us updated. the costs of medication, and also medical bills these days, has gone up so much. i don\'t have insurance, so if i needed to go to the doctors, it would cost $90 just to see the doctor. it\'s really wild, how the prices have gotten out of control. we\'re keeping everyone in our thoughts and prayers, and hoping and praying for the very best care. :)
