Update on my 12/28 Entry--Hospital Call

I spent Thurs. at the hospital with my friend and his family. I went back Sat. at about 1pm and stayed till about 4pm.. brought my wife home and went back and stayed till about 9pm.  I went back again yesterday about 1pm and stayed till about 5pm.  I had to be at another hospital in another county this morning and I just got home about 30 minutes ago.  I just got a phone call that my friend died about 11 am today. 
I imagine I will be doing his funeral sometime this week.  It is too soon for any arrangements at present.  He was 56 yrs. old and I have known him all of his life.  I was privileged to lead him to the Lord earlier this year.  He has suffered for 4 yrs. and he told his family he wanted to go on, that he was tired of fighting.
In many ways, this is a very sad time but, there is peace too.  He is not suffering now.  He is at home with the Lord.
