Update for end of May

I have been doing better these last few weeks. I am taking the doubled prescription of Gabapentin and have been eating better now I've been gluten free. My pain level is lower, I feel I am healing, from both the fusion and my disc replacement. My outlook on life is clearing, like the clouds on a windswept day. Poetic, aren't I? But it is true. I am now quilting, reading for pleasure and eating delicious yummys. I am getting better. Not to say I don't still have pain, and often. I do. I had the weirdest nerve tingles across my right shoulder today. I think it's from the sewing. I must cease a little earlier in the my day. I am only doing small projects, and when the soreness or nerve pain heightens, I stop. I know my well-being is contingent upon being prudent with my time spent at my hobbies, good rest, good food and solitude. I am okay, or I will be.
Now, off to bed as it is quite late or early, whichever...do as I state I will do...rest and care for myself. No one else can do it for me.

It\'s awesome you\'re feeling so much better. I usually do better in the summer with no humidity here. Gluten free. Do you really think it helps & is it hard to make the switch? It scares me a little. Thanks for sharing. ~ Karen

Lots of positive. Sounds like gluten free is working well for you. Happy face on the quilting. Even for short periods it is your joy and you seem to know when it is time to take a rest,

Great journal entry.
