Update : Doc\'s appointment ...or ambush?

I went in to my doctor's appointment today  to check on my elevated pulse rate. As I began to tell the doc how I was doing he stopped me. Then he began to tell ME all the symptoms that I had been going through. This included the SOB, the balance issues, the hand tremors, as well as the elevated pulse rate.  Needless to say ..(but I'll say it anyway)..I was stunned. I thought "Boy, is this guy good!"  He then cleared up how he had acquired his sudden, amazingly accurate, insight into my condition ..without me telling him. It seems as if my wife Julie did not trust me to tell him all that was going on. (OH, she of little faith!...but entirely too much familiarity with my habits) She told on me big time. I guess it's just as well. Some of the issues I probably wouldn't  have mentioned. I was mostly concerned about my pulse. But once it was all out there, I couldn't deny it.   Sooo, we are now changing my blood pressure meds yet again and I have to have lab work done. I also have to see a neurologist in March. (I thought that I had met all the good doctors in St.Charles but this one is new to me. I'm starting to think that I am a milestone for the medical community. You can't claim to be worth your sheepskin until you see Ol' Tom.  Hmmmm. Maybe I should charge them. That would be nice... and that'll be the day!) But in the meantime....The journey continues.    Be well,Tom

You have me concerned and I\'m just an online friend. A message to your wife, Julie: \"You did the right thing\". Really, Tom, she must be very concerned to talk to your doctor ahead of you. I think you are blessed all around: loving wife, good physicians, and a sense of humor. :-) Hang in there and keep us posted who you are doing along your journey.

OK Tom, you can stop now. I know you want to help the economy, but you can\'t do it all yourself :) The medical community will have to find other ways to make money. I think you have done your fair share now. Let someone else have a chance at all that fun attention lol.

I\'ve threatened my hubby a few times about calling the doctor on him. So far, it has kept him in line. The things we wives have to do to keep our hubbies alive.
