Update :D
Random update for today, well technically it would be for yesterday cuz I'm going to talk about yesterday XD
So yesterday I went to a shopping mall near my house with two of my best friends (they both know I'm pan) and we just hung out. My friend Camryn and I have been wanting to go shopping for flannels for a while, since I explained to him my desire to buy more male styled clothing, so we planned to go shopping and hang out. Camryn knows I'm also gender fluid, but our other friend, Dylan, didn't know until last night (when I told him).
So the three of us (Camryn, Dylan and I) shopped in the men's section the whole time and I loved it so much, cuz I could totally embrace my masculine side and admire all the amazing clothes in the men's section without having to act all girly like I do when I go shopping with my friend Melanie.
The three of us all got "matching" beanies and t-shirts; The beanies are all different colors but the same fabric and style, and our t-shirts are all the same theme (monstrous creature things) but different animals, like Camryn got a shark shirt, I got a dinosaur shirt and Dylan got a weird bear thingy I think XD
I wanted to buy some "guys" jeans so bad, so I think I'm going to return some other ripped jeans I bought recently and then with that money go and buy the male style jeans :D
OH also, Camryn and I have matching flannels!! I'm so happy about that, especially since the flannel is a guys style flannel :D
I posted some pictures on one of my social media accounts yesterday and one of my followers commented "You look like a man!" (that follower doesn't know I'm gender fluid) and I smiled so big and thought to myself "YES MISSION ACCOMPLISHED". Comments like that make me feel so happy :D
I realllllly want to cut my hair again. I last cut my hair in June of 2014. I had long hair back then, like to the top of my ribcage length, then I cut it all off in a pixie cut sort of style. I've been growing it out since then cuz I didn't know what I wanted to do with it next, so now it's just below my jawline length. I want to cut it really short, but also have long bangs (I love long bangs), so I was thinking of a full on pixie cut, or just something really short, like most boys usually get type short. Any style suggestions?
Well, that's pretty much my update. Just got some more manly clothes and shopped with two awesome guys.
But there's definitely pros and cons about being gender fluid, like sometimes when you feel like a certain gender and you express yourself in that way, you don't always get treated like that gender.
Like the whole bathroom situation. UGH that annoys me so much.
Yesterday I felt very masculine and dressed accordingly, but some people didn't treat me like I was a guy, it was really frustrating. I guess my voice doesn't help that much either. Maybe I also need to work on representing myself with a more masculine body...I put on a bunch of layers under my shirt yesterday and felt pretty confident at first, but later in the day I still went into the "woman's" bathroom just to play it safe.
