Update appt, more decisions
Hmmmm, so, went for an update today, Dr says she is pleased with my 3 Frozen embryos and thinks I have a good chance to get pregnant. She offered me an option though that I wasn't expecting.
My cycle is funded for me, however the RE offered today the option of having a Hysteroscopy before my FETĀ (unfunded) for NZ$1085 to check for polyps etc and to injure the lining for a better implantation. or for a pipelle to injure the lining only for NZ$280.
I have no idea what to do, part of me says I should do everything possible, and that I am lucky to have cycle funded so what's $1000, then part of me says, I have no reason to believe its necessary, but do I want to risk an embryo to find out??
I think at least the pipelle is worth doing, but really I have no idea what to do, lots of places they only do this after a failed IVF or FET, but if my cycle fails i'd also wonder if it would have worked if I did the hysteroscopy??
Any words of wisdom would be appreciated xxx

Honestly, I would do the hysteroscopy if I were you. Yes, it delays you probably a month or two, but I\'ve also heard the same things - helps with implantation, \"cleans\" you out of polups/abnormalities. I\'ve had it done to see if the abnormalities my RE was seeing on the U/S screen was polups. I\'m not sure of the exchange rate of NZ, so not sure if NZ$1085 is a lot, but you are right, you had the IVF funded for you, so I would do everything you can to make sure it work. Good luck with your decision!
I think I would do anything in my power to help the success along. Consider both options and go with your gut.
Its a no brainer really, I guess yesterday it just felt like another delay.
