Up, Up and Away! Roller Coaster Climbing, YaY!

It's been a little while (a month), since the hypomania has actually reached a mid range level (just below my danger zone), but this time there isn't a trace of irritability. Nope. This time it is joy and a good libido and energy and a drive to get things done. Oh, this is bliss. Overspending is not an issue 'cause I grew up poor and being careful about money is ingrained in me. When I spend, it's pretty minimal and its for things I've needed and put off forever and now I finally have the energy to do the shopping, whether at the store or online. I've run it by hubby so he's aware just in case -- but it's been fine. I realize I have to be careful to not let the hypomania go higher. And actually, I know it's not good to get this high for long. On a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the highest (full blown mania), I'm at a 3. If I don't start to come down tomorrow, I know I have to up myLithium. I'll call my Pdoc on Monday first. Oh, but it feels good to have hypomania this way, with joy, again for a change. It is so tempting to just ride the wave. And I know the roller coaster will peak and start to descend and I don't want to go there. It's amazing, I feel like this is the way I'm supposed to be, like this is normal. It took a day for me to realize what is actually happening. I recognize the depressive side immediately. It's harder for me to recognize the hypomanic side until it reaches a certain level.
