Up To Now

It has occured to me that up until a year ago, I always had someone who cared.  First there was Mom.  We'd talk for hours.  Nothing was off limits.  Then my husband.  He was my best friend and again, nothing off limits.  But now I'm alone.  Yes, my father is still here and I have a wonderful step-daughter, but I'm talking about having someone around who feels a part of any decision you make.  Here I am making one of the biggest decisions of my life:buying property, but there is no one to bounce ideas off of.  No one who really cares what I buy.  Eventually, I'll make up my mind and buy something.  I know that.  But still.  I think of the times I went house hunting with my parents and then later with my husband.  We used to talk hours about the features and benefits of the prospetive house.  But now....
Well, I just miss it.  Miss him.

Tru.. I totally know what you mean. It is like we don\'t have anyone who has our best interests at heart.. one who TRULY cares!!
I feel the same way and it is yet another loss... they keep on coming.....
I seek the Lord and I know He cares... but sometimes have a hard time determining His direction for me.

that is so on target...feel for you in that aloneness. I was missing Mike today while doing yard work...could hear him telling me to take it easy and watch out for my back. Miss having someone care. xoxox

Isn\'t that the truth. Decisions that were a process are now a lonely choice. Boy do I miss my girl!

I understand. Morning coffee and the \"kitchen chatter\" may seem like little things...but I sure miss it.

Yup - we all \"get it\" - we all understand how you\'re feeling. So many times I want to turn to Mark and ask him what he thinks about something or what I should do about something. My step brother sent me an email a week or so ago about my Mom that really pissed me off - and I sooooo wanted to talk to Mark about it. Oh, I can talk to him, but I sure miss him taking part in the conversation.
Hugs to you,
Chris
