Up in the air/Back on Track?!

I know, it has been too long since I have logged in. These last couple weeks have been extremely crazy and I have been so lost. I haven't been dieting or exercising at all really...I haven't completely fallen off the wagon (I haven't gained any weight!!!), but I am not doing well, either! Let's play catch up:
Up until late last week, I have been basically unable to sleep until the very wee hours(like 5-7 am). I was going insane from lack of sleep and the level of stress I was under. My husband spent last week and the week before working many hours of overtime, for nothing apparently, as HR shorted him nearly 200 dollars and plan to do nothing about it because they feel there was no error in reporting.
Last Friday, our car broke down. As in, it cannot be driven at all. So, he missed work that Friday. We are already behind nearly $500 in payments because of short checks and other bills that were higher in our priority list. Now we found out that it will cost nearly $300 to fix. Plus, it needs new tires and other repairs that will come to over $1,000! We are very poor and do not have that kind of money. Unfortunately, we will have to turn our car back in. Which means, were are at the mercy of our family allowing my husband to drive their van (which doesn't get driven often because of its own issues).
As for this week, my husband nearly got fire on Monday because of his attendance (some car related, as I said). I believe that is utter crap, though, because they are claiming he has been coming in and working a different shift, when he had only ONE shift since starting there, over a year ago. They threatened to fire him if he didn't bring in proof that the car broke down. Of course, that was an easy fix, because we had the estimate from the repairman as well as a letter from our dealership. So HA! He didn't get fired, but they told him if he is even one minute late, they would fire him. What crap! He has the highest marks of most people in there. Call centers can be ridiculous like that, though, because they are constantly hiring new people. Their turn over rate is horrible.
My husband is better than all of that. He is currently trying to find a job that at least meets some of his qualifications. He has an Associate's Degree in Computers, but we don't live in a big city and he can't drive far from home because of me and my mother.
Now, we have to save up for another car...

Sorry, this is really long...But, here are the positive things that have happened!
I found my "magic" blanket that I used for years and years, but thought was lost. Now, I am out like a light in under 30 minutes, regardless of what time I go to bed! YAY ME!!!! I am also trying to eat healthier and take my vitamins so that I can donate plasma, like my husband. It is a great way to bring in some much needed cash for a car and it saves lives. I am feeling happier lately, even while everything has been up in the air about cars, jobs, houses, and the like. That must be a step in the right direction. Oh, and our 2 year anniversary is coming up! We have been together for 6 years, but married for 2. We cannot go out and do anything, but I can make him a nice steak dinner (which he hasn't had in over a year!) and we can settle down and watch some movies. Better than any date I can think of!

OH YEAH!!! I almost forgot the most important thing! I started my online classes this week!!! It has been a blast so far! It's only a 3 week orientation workshop to get us used to the online environment, but I am loving it. It adds a purpose to my day, in a way of saying! It helps motivate me to do other things throughout my day, as well!
And finally, I started the fourth year in the Harry Potter series tonight. The Goblet of Fire is 735 pages or somewhere thereabouts... Boy, am I in for it! Whew!!!
I feel much better just typing all of this and getting it off my chest!
