Up, Down & Still All Around
Boy where do I begin here.
Can we say "regressed". I saw my rheumy & when he looked at my legs he just shook his head & say that it was as bad as back when I was hospitalized all those yrs ago. He did run some blood tests to check various platlet leves & other levels & took a chest x-ray. I'll get the results on the 23rd.
He put me on prednisone, a moderate dose but not too large. We'll see on the 23rd I guess if anything further will be needed. I was really really angry abt this & could not understand how I let it happen. My rheumy really doesn't think it was my lifestyle & he seems to feel that this time it's just the nature of the beast & that it just decided it wanted to have a temper tantrum.
I think I mentioned abt the joint/muscle pains, well, I stopped taking the b supplement I had added & bingo that solved that problem. Can't figure that one out.
My emotions have been up, down & all around. There's been times, where, oh I don't know, it's hard to find the words, I felt like I was losing touch with faith & strength & was scattered in alot of directions all at once. I'm trying to refocus, spending more time with my devotional reading & focusing my heart on the Lord but there have been moments where I seem to slip into the basement emotionally. At least I know I've had the Lords hand to help pull me back up. So I shook myself off, got back to the gym today & some yoga. Get this, when I had finished & was on my way home I happened to notice my hands and lower arms & the rash was like 99% gone & it was not that gone last night. I know I've felt the Lords presence the last few days & wow when I noticed this I wish I could of just yelled praise to him for blessing me like that. I know the prednisone is starting to kick in but I feel confident that the Lords hand is also at work here.
Just got a ph call fr my diabetes dr & my thyroid is off a bit. I've been taking a pill for 6 days & then not on Sunday & now they want to take one every day so I guess that has come into play here also.
Something that really bothers me is the way I feel I need to pull back fr my sister & her depression right now. I don't know, part of me feels like I just can't go there at this time which I know is not right but I need to focus alot on me.
Well all my dear dear friends here, you all are such an important part of my life that I can't imagine where I'd be without all of you.

Dear Kitty,
You have the right attitude hon. Take care of you. That\'s not being selfish or anything of the kind. Right now you just need to concentrate on getting better. When you\'re feeling better, maybe you can spread yourself around again. But now is not the time. I wish you wellness.
Many blessings and gentle hugs,
Cathy
Praise the Lord for touching you! When you told me you felt like you went to the bottom of his feet and cried you actually moved the hand of God to heal you. I knew it then and I know it now. That is how he works Pat, he wants us to do exactly what you did. My point of view about your sister is you need to take care yourself first before you can help her or any one else. Right now just be great full for your healing and spend time with God at his feet. You know I pray for you and I love you . Please don\'t stress out over your sister right now, not good for your health. xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
I thought I\'d commented on this already, which seems like odd dejavu haha. Maybe DS snatched it away. Sorry about that. That is so odd about the b vitamin. And then your thyroid. I would be confused too, so please don\'t beat yourself up because you feel a but \"all over the place.\" For one, it seems clear that your body is battling something and trying to find \"center\" so it\'s probably normal to feel unsettled about all sorts of things, right? I have another DS friend who is pulling away from other\'s depression issues and I thought it was Self Preservation. I know that\'s how it works for me too. We are only one person, and we can\'t do it all, all the time. I am thrilled to hear that the Lord is sitting with you and blessing you. It shows true character, faith, strength, whatevr you want to call it, to praise God during times of trial. It is inspirational to read about! You always inspire me with your attitude. I do hope you focus on yourself because how else would you go about getting balanced? = ) Sending lots of love and prayers up for you today. xoxo
