Up date for the new year
Just to let you know how I am. First off I thought my joints were permanently in a lot more pain than I was used to. Took meds for a few days and all but my wrist trouble all went down. I need to rest my wrist more so it can heal! I keep forgetting and using it for things I could use my other hand. But that is major awkward and all habits die hard! LOL! I am good for a day and then I forget and there goes all my progress!
My husband is also experiencing new pain. His hips are giving him hell!
Oh and the hot flashes I get now make it hard to dress warm. When in a few moments of putting on a thicker shirt or sweater I get too hot and have to take it off. I tried black cohosh and it works for a few days then not so much. At least I think it stops helping. LOL But the hot flashes were really bad when they first started, almost every 5 minutes! Now it's not's so often. I was told by one friend that she had it for only two years. Idk, but it isn't so bad now and I only worry that I will be more miserable in the summer. I am thankful for all that I have and can do, so don't get me wrong, I'm not really complaining, it's just that I don't talk much about myself and want to catch up so to speak.
My life is pretty much dull. I like it that way for the most part. In fact I am so use to nothing going on that when a 15 foot section of fence was pushed down by a guy on a bobcat ,I think it's called. He was smoothing the property behind us. Later that evening two men came by to tell us about it. Little did they know we knew and had video! LOL! So it would get fixed by their fence guy first chance he got. Well again the fence guy tried to just replace one board. Luckily my husband saw him coming to our house when he was leaving for work and put him straight. Fence has been fixed correctly now. Three posts were replace that were cracked and new boards for each. Looks good, glad we have cameras! So many people try to rip you off for things that are not your fault but theirs!
So the holidays were good with all three of my children here. I love having the grand kids over! Unfortunately it is getting too exhausting to cook and clean after! And this year one of the grand kids got a wild idea or two that made bigger messes in and around the house. So we are thinking we may want to see if we can afford to rent a hall and maybe then the parents of said messy child will pay more attention to what she is doing. LOL! They seem to think when they come here they are on paid vacation and have a nanny to boot! LOL! Not that they are totally lazy, they ask if I need any help but I don't like how they clean. We would have them do some of the cooking but they don't cook what we like the same. And I know our cooking is the best because little to no left overs of our food and lots left over of theirs! LOL!
