Got the Christmas cards posted finally. Ed was home early so he posted them. I suppose they will be late now, never mind.
I rang an old friend in Queensland yesterday. It was good to talk to her. Poor thing has had a bad time after a fall.I met Cynthia & Arthur when I first came to Australia so we go back a long way.Poor Arthur is not so well now. I always remember Cynthia is ten years older than me & Arthur twenty. How time flies, we are old now!
Mind you, when I was at the rhumy He asked me as a women of 45-50 how I felt. I said "try 61"!! He made my day. Must be all the rest I get!!
Christopher rang yesterday to say he has Christmas eve off work So I will pick him up after work on the Thursday.It will be good to see him again.A pity I am working but never mind. I have plenty of time off later.
We had a huge storm yesterday. It poured with rain & the thunder & lightening was really bad. Some poor man was killed on a golf course.
Today I must go food shopping. I keep putting it off. I have to be in the mood to do anything these days. It must be the heat!
Ed has a Christmas lunch today at work. He had to get a Kris Kringle for someone he is trying to get rid of. Sounds a bad thing to do but she does'nt work well. So I ended up spending ages trying to find something for a girl I have never met. I ended up getting some all natural Ozzie made body lotion. Ed said she was'nt a girlie girl so hopefully she still moisturizes her skin!
445am & I am still awake but I can feel my eyelids getting heavy. I will check Facebook & the go back to bed.
