Unusual reaction to Humira

Went to the doc yesterday morning.  My right wrist hurt and my feet & knees were stiffer than "normal," but the doc found only minor swelling in a couple of knuckles.  I have limited mobility in the wrist, but since he found no inflammation, he said a cortisone injection wouldn't help.  He ordered x-rays to see what's going on.  He already told me several months ago that he thinks I have permanent damage to my wrist.  >sigh<  I gave myself a Humira injection later in the day but had an unusual reaction.  First, the med really burned going in this time.  I've been taking it for 8 or 9 months and haven't felt that much pain before.  Then, a couple of hours afterward, I noticed a large, hot, red welt around the injection site.  It grew to about 6 inches wide by early evening.  I called Humira's 800 number, but the office was closed already.  This morning, the area is not as red or hot, but the affected area is still large.  I let the doc's office know about the welt, and I'm waiting to hear back from someone. Waiting, waiting . . .
