It's not fair. Yet it happens all the time. Unrequited Love.
I love him. I trust him. I would be willing to give myself up for him. He thinks of me as a friend and no more. My life is full of pain and strife, longing for healing, growing through emotional childhood hurts. He is strong, growing in his own way, but pressing on toward the goal I once desired. The life I once longed for. He will obtain it. He will fulfill my dream. Why couldn't we fulfill it together? Why can't he feel for me the way I do for him? Why can't he wait for me, help me, so that we can go together??? My dear Seth. I wish I could tell you how much I love you, but I know it would only make you uncomfortable because you've already told me how you feel towards me. You are such a good friend. I wish you the best.
