Unloving mother

I feel guilty that I don't feel any love for my mother, but how could I when someone was never there, and cared more about partying then being a mom. My mother is someone that wants you to love them without being judged, that you have to care for them no matter what they did, but it dosen't work like that.  You you have to be in someones life and be a good mom, in order for the child to love a respect you.  This is just something I had to get off of my mind.
