I was quite surprised to look out the door today and see an unexpected visiter eating apples that had fallen off the tree!

Wow.... This is beautiful.... I love wildlife.... I'm in the city now but I used to live north of Toronto and we had a deer crossing and feeding area.... Lovely......xo
I see them quite often this time of year. There are wild apple trees everywhere. This was the first time I had a camera close by. He stayed a long time and was feeling relaxed, taking his time but a car with a very loud muffler drove by and scared him away.
When hunting season comes in early november, they disappear, for some reason....like they know what's coming. I don't hunt and the land around my house is all posted including neighbors. We all love seeing animals alive and well. around our homes.

How cute. We have them in our yard all the time and love to watch them play with each other. We have a little doe and she always has two fawns. She introduces them to us every spring. We look so forward to seeing her. I guess she feels safe in our yard.
