unexpected bonus!

here is a silly little positive side effect of my journey out of craziness.......
here comes hurricane irene, my elderly parents need to evacuate so they are coming to my house. oh the drama!!!!! lol  so my in my family EVERY thing is a food event, and this is no different my mother is bringing every bit of food in her home UGHi started to put my back up but realized that this was one of those things that don't matter. so i could just let it go,not control my mother's food issues. let her feel important. and enjoy the time i can spend with them even if it is during a storm.    small victory for me.
P.S. prince charming doing well, managing pain situation with no relapses, and not getting crazed (so far anyway) over the approaching hurricane. (he usually thinks he can keep such scary events at bay by sheer force of will and a handful of pills.)
so we are taking it easy and grateful for this moment.
