Uncaring Doctors!!
What the hell is wrong with the doctors here?! I'm in horrendous pain and call to ask if there have been any cancellations. The receptionist says there hasn't been and says that she'll let me know when there are cancellations. I tell her that I'm having a really hard time with pain and she says to follow up with my family doctor! My family doctor hasn't been any help with this! That's why I'm seeing a specialist!!! I thought he was going to help but now I highly doubt it! My endoscopy and colonscopy were cleaar so now he just thinks IBS and doesn't care! I'm stuck going to the ER eve though they don't usually help! Do I have to end up in the hospital for a doctor to see me and to take me seriously?! I guess so! I don't know why I even bother trying to get help!!!

I sympathize with your situation so much. I can't stand it when doctors don't help and say things like "go to the er" or "I sent you to a specialist and can't see you for that". That's wrong and frustrating! What's the point in having a primary care doctor if that's the way it is? They can check things out and order tests just as well as the er. I'm throwing up really bad now and nobody can get me in saying if it's that bad go to the er. If i can't afford the time or money it's hard to decide when to do that. I'm going through the same thing. It's so hard.
So sorry to hear...it really sucks...they are quick to send us those ridiculous bills, but slow to give us the care we need......
I think going to the ER is a good idea if you're in that much pain. Sometimes that's the only way people can get the care they need because the doctors offices are all booked up. Good luck with everything sweetie and keep us posted. Big hugs.
Oh no Hollywood! I hope your vomiting stops soon! That something will help!*hugs* I wish it wasn't so hard for you as well! When I go to the ER it's hard to get them to take me seriously and do anything. Everything is a fight! :( In pain again now. Thanks for the hugs.
I know the feeling-if they were the ones in pain things would sure be different..just keep on them
