Unbelievable Vacay ... !!!

Doing this house / pet sit has been absolutely amazing. I am here for 2 weeks now, but it does seem like much longer in some ways. But staying in this half a million dollar home, on amazing ranch acerage at 9000 feet in the mountains, in the Sangre de Cristo mountain Valley is unbelievable.... 

I have done many things that are within an hour or hour and a half drive... and still have a few more things planned. Hubs didn't come, but I decided for that not to ruin my stay. I decided, in fact, to do all that I could possibly do, while not neglecting my chores of the house or the dogs. They are so easy to care for. And I'm not doing anything here that I don't do at home.... in fact, less... bc I'm not cooking much. I'm eating sandwiches and easy meals....  Not eating out.... 

The things I've done so far in 2 weeks / adventures and site seeing....

1. Bishop's Castle / what a bizzare place !!! 

2. 3 days at the High Mtn Hay Fever Bluegrass Festival... which was AMAZING!  I didn't expect that.

3. Shopping / a little / not much of a shopper

4. Beckwith Historic Ranch / a lot of history

5. Mission: Wolf / Sanctuary for wolves that can not survive in the wild WAY up in the remote mountain range

6. Yoga on the deck over looking the mtns / coffee in the beautiful mtn morning on the deck

7. Visited Royal Gorge over Arkansas River / walked on the suspending bridge over the gorge

8. Prison Museum / that was amazing and interesting

.... 

And I still have 3 more days I can adventure !!!
