unbelievable

I do not understand how me and my husband are on one subject then we get to another then another and he jumps way back to our first disagreement which I thought we had already settled. We are in a really really big argument now and truthfully I don't know which way it is going to go. I have never in my life been a prison wife and he has never been an inmate before so it is something new to us both and I guess neither one of us is coping the correct way and its really affecting the marriage. But I keep trying to explain to him that I am making the effort but to him my effort is not good enough he wants MORE...
