Ultrasound went well today!
Good news today! I had the endoscopy with unltrasound and all went very well. The best part is that the doctor does not see the tumor growing outside of the esophageal wall. It's confined to a small space and I will be able to have my resection. Yes, having the surgury has always been so scary to me and for many resons, not a consideration. But, now they believe they may be able to get rid of Guido (That's what I call the tumor)!
Another great bit of news is that I don't remember the procedure! I clearly remember everything and everyone from the last two procedures, and while I was not feeling anxious or in pain, I still find it creepy to have such vivid memories. I warned the team, today, not to say anything they don't want me to hear!
I'm now done with all of my tests and can start the countdown to next Tuesday!

That is great news. Tuesday? What happens?
Never mind. I read the previous post. You are right. You are blessed. My surgery was postponed a month while they chased a shadow on a CT and finally determined it was nothing. But 1/19/12 they put me under and everything went as planned. I hope you don\'t mind, but i prayed for you this morning. Blessings.... John
