Ultrasound #1--Shh!! Quiet ovaries!

So 5:45am came pretty early this morning but I had to be at the RE's office between 7 and 7:30 to be herded through the line of women there for bloodwork and ultrasounds.  I decided to get there closer to 7:30 as I work from home most days and didn't have to race off to work afterwards.  My actual bloodwork and u/s were done in about 7 minutes total which was nice.  If you want to make your nurse laugh, ask her if your ovaries are quiet when she's looking at them.  Mine asked me if I had read that somewhere, because she never had a patient ask that.  Yes, in fact, I did read that in one of my many research moments, that they are looking to make sure the Lupron is working and your ovaries are quiet.  Shh!!  Quiet please!
Besides being quiet, she said my uterine lining is thin (which is good I guess) and that she could see several antral follicles on each side (which is also good from my research and her comments).  I have decided though that it is just as gross as I thought it would be to have an u/s while bleeding.  I know they do this everyday but it was still gross to me.  But who has any modesty left at this point in the process?
They will call me this afternoon, but my next u/s isn't scheduled until Monday morning, so they want me to wait until tomorrow night to start with the FSH combo of Bravelle and Menopur.  It sure seems like a long time to go in between u/s with a lot of time for waking the quiet ovaries!!!!  I trust they know what they are doing.
Lupron update:  I actually pulled off the "dart like motion" yesterday morning and again today.  That is definitely the way to go because it doesn't hurt at all.  I no longer have any feelings of lightheadedness afterwards either which is nice.  I still do not have one single bruise or lump but I'm sure that will change tomorrow night!  I've had no more meltdowns really to speak of, however, I did wake up early Saturday morning completely soaking wet.  It's too bad I missed the actual hot flash though as I'm always freezing, and always have been by nature.  It was actually really gross and I promptly washed all the bedding once DH got out of bed.  I do still have a slight lingering headache but it could be weather related as we keep going up and down in temps and we've had a lot of rain.  I was told by the nurse that Tylenol SPARINGLY is ok.  Apparently she does not know that when I have normal cramps, I take 3 ibuprofen and 2 Aleve as part of my pain relief cocktail.  I know, it's horrible for your stomach lining, but that's what I have to do to get some reprieve from the pain.  The Lupron is also to blame for some serious bloating and I'm pretty sure I've gained about 5 lbs in the week and half of being on it.  Not so fun, but the end result will be worth it.  Tomorrow morning drops it down to 0.05 anyway so I'm hoping that helps.
Finally, DH may be having a harder time than I right now.  His "no beer, no cigars" regime is getting the best of him and he's more irritable and moody than I have ever seen.  I told him that this is a great time to learn to deal with stress in other ways, because you can't go outside to smoke a cigar if you can't get a baby to stop crying.  He really is doing a great job overall.  He even handled his parents well this weekend when they put me right on the spot and made me feel totally uncomfortable.  I'm sure he could have used a big beer after dinner with them, because I sure could have!  We're trying to keep our eye on the prize..
In the meantime, we're one step closer and we remain optimistic!  God is great!
