ULTRA TIME MANAGEMENT!

OK, now, if you've read my posts before you won't be shocked by this one. It's been awhile since I could post but this is just one that must be told!  My youngest son, is very very thoughtful and don't get me wrong, that is a GOOD QUALITY....usually.  However, when he adds MORE BUBBLE BATH to my bath unknowing that I already have because he wanted to surprise me.....WELL, SURPRISE! Or shock take your pick.  Or, when he prepares the coffee maker for the next morning and I unknowingly start to do it and FLOOD THE KITCHEN with too much water in the coffee maker......WELL, SURPRISE! Or shock take your pick.  Or, when he thought he'd save me time putting coffee creamer in the coffee make with the coffee so as it brewed it was already creamed....WELL, SURPRISE! Or shock take your pick.  But this last time, what can I begin to say, I'm not sure of, so you will have to decide if it was "thoughtfulness", "time saving", or an attempt on my life that failed.  You see, my darling son, heated up a cup of coffee for me and brought it to me. This is not unusual for him as he is extremely thoughtful and just seems to sense when I need a cup to relax. HOWEVER THIS CUP WAS SPECIAL!  I took the cup and said "Thank you, sweetie." He replied, "Well, mom, you look tired and like you needed a cup of coffee." So we were cuddling on recliner (yes, it is too small for us both so change cuddling to CRAMMING IN the recliner). I drink the coffee and thought, "this is odd.....it tastes sweet." However, it wasn't bad icky sweet just a touch so I thought ok, he may have put sugar in it, which he'd done before but I told him I didn't like sweet coffee all the time just certain times.  Anyway, continue to drink this cup of "sweet" coffee and after I finish I remarked to him "Honey, that coffee tasted a little sweet." He smiled so big you'd have thought his face would break. I asked, "Did you put sugar in it?" "NOPE!" was his sweet smiling reply.  I said "Well, what did you put in it?" At this point you begin to think anti-freeze as they say that is why dogs drink it then die because it tastes sweet. He then smiled even wider, if that is possible, and replied, "I know how much you like Vanilla Coke and you also like coffee so I put both in the cup to save you time."  Now, time management is something I do really strive at, and God knows he sees me making postie notes on the wall of things I must do, but really, DRINKING TWO DRINKS AT ONCE IS NOT TIME MAGANAGEMENT.....IT'S A POTENTIAL ER VISIT! Well, thank God, I didn't get sick from this "time saver drink" but I did tell him that as much as I appreciated his thoughtfulness, please not to do it again. ONLY CREAMER in the coffee AFTER it is in the cup. Again, survival of motherhood is not for the faint of heart or stomach! LOL
