Ughhhh...

Had my regular OB appointment for today already scheduled. Last night as I was getting ready for bed I went to the bathroom and there was brown blood when I wiped.... Automatic panic mode set in... Nothing worsened overnight and I tried to stay calm. Called OB this morning and they moved my appointment up an hour and a half. Thankfully I saw my OB, as she had two patients go into labor this morning and was going to be going to deliver soon. Anyways, DH met me at appointment. He kept telling me it would be fine. As soon as OB heard I was spotting, she said she was doing an ultrasound. Baby was active and moving from the minute she started and the little heart was flickering away! She said it looked like the placenta was sitting low. She did an internal exam and said my cervix felt firm, closed, and very high still.... Amen. She does want to be very thorough, so sent me for a more extensive ultrasound. Preliminary "non official" results show placenta and cervix to be fine. Will wait to hear officially from doctor herself. Why does this have to be so stressful?
