Udate From Friday's Journal.....
On friday night I wrote a journal explaining the extreme selfishness and stupidity displayed by my ex. His words hurt my heart when he just thought we were good friends and I would help him find a sitter for his friend Shawna so they could go to a party. I appreciate all your responses it gives me strength. Today however I just found out that by his thoughtless and hurtfull words and choices cost him his invitation to his own brothers party. When my BIL and SIL found out what he did they told him he needed to stay home last night and feel as alone, issolated, and not welcomed and not loved as he made me feel. I was absolutly SHOCKED that my BIL and SIL felt that much hurt for me and was truly sorry for what he did. Thus proving again that goodness, kindness, and being the better, bigger person will always triumph over selfish, mean, and stupid......

Wow what an incredible act of kindness displayed to you by your BIL and SIL, and such affirmation to you that taking the moral higher ground is worth it!! I am so happy that his family acknowledged what a jerk he has been, and made him pay for his actions. I know we shouldn\'t necessarily feel this way, but hopefully it is the validation that you needed to feel good about yourself.

What a wonderful thing for your BIL and SIL to do. It is nice when the darkside loses. Doesn\'t happen nearly enough, so we must enjoy the moments when it does happen!! Keep doing what you are doing and maybe he will get more of his own behavior from others.
Diz, you just keep doing what you have been doing and you will continue to get stronger each and every day. Your X is such a loser -- and stupid, to boot. It must feel pretty darned good NOT to have him hanging around your neck anymore! Woo hoo for YOU, girlfriend!
