U GOT 2 LINE UP & MATCH

II CHRONICLES 26:5 He (King Uzziah) set himself to seek God in the days of Zechariah, who instructed him in the things of God: and as long as he sought (inquired of, yearned for) the Lord God, God made him prosper.MATTHEW 6:33  But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His (GOD) kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing & being right), and then all these things taken together will be give you besides.OK.  I know that prayer is the way we talk to God and tell Him all that is in our minds and hearts.  We also need to be quiet to HEAR HIM!  However, I know that God answers every prayer even if the answer is yes, no, or wait.  Why is this important to know?  God's word tells us to pray without ceasing.  Prayer is an attitude as much as an activity.  To get our prayers answered, don't you think you need to be specific and in the right place asking for the right thing?  God is all knowing, all present,  so you may ask, why or how do I pray?  Well, you pray so God can get YOU in the right place.
Look at verse two.  IF I am truly seeking God, His kingdom, His ways, His thoughts, etc., then I will be in a place more likely to get more prayers answered.  No, God is no genie and no, there is no magic formula.  You must be honest, sincere, and in the right place.  However, if you are truly seeking God, you're not going to be as likely to pray about something that would be against God's will.  See, God cannot answer any prayer that goes against His will or who He is.  He does love us but more than that, HE ACTUALLY IS LOVE.  Wow!  Now that just blows my mind.
These two verses go together because look at King Uzziah.  He set himself, completely (determined & made up his mind) to seek God.  Who did he hang with?  The Prophet Zechariah.  King Uzziah was serious.  He was learning from Zechariah all that he could so he would follow the right way, the right attitudes, right people, right activates, etc.  God will honor those type of actions because King Uzziah (or anyone who wants to) was determined he wanted all of God that he could get and the things of God.
Now, my best friend of a lifetime tells me I can't pray the way I do to God. LOL  I am never disrespectful but I always lay it on the line and don't beat around the bush.  I've prayed for God to let me have certain things that are in accordance with His word and I remind Him as well of incidents in the Bible where He did it for others.  Therefore, since God is not a respecter of people, none better than the other, I can be assured I've asked for something that is within God's will and ability.  Now, do I know when I'll receive my answer? NOPE!  But I know sure as I type to you, I will have my prayer answered.  I've prayed according to God's will, He's proven in the Bible He's done it before, and I am seeking HIS KINGDOM & RIGHTEOUSNESS.  I want His way and not my way.  So, I know He hears & answers.
Actually, I kind of have to chuckle as God is answering my prayer bit by bit as I asked for so long ago.  All in His time.   If it would've been sooner, I would've been too young spiritually as well as too weak spiritually to handle the answer.  So, now I can lift my arms with a smile, giggle, and praise God as He is answering my prayer of long ago.  Wait doesn't mean no, it means I wasn't ready for it.  If I would get a no, it's for my best and I can still be happy & at peace because it is not part of my life's path, it isn't good for me or both.  I can trust God completely and that gives me peace & rest.
Now, the part of "other things" in verse 2.  Well, just as any good parent likes to surprise their child(ren), so does God.  I like jewelry.  We were at a yard sale and this lady had a zip lock baggie of various jewelry.  Now I can spot the real stuff and she had some in there.  I stopped her and said, "Excuse me, ma'am.  There is some real jewelry in here.  Did you know that?"  I was not going to be a liar or thief!! She replied she did. I paid her the $3 and thanked God for blessing me with my beautiful REAL jewelry.  One ring was worth $75 per my jeweler!!  See, just little things like that the Lord sets up and the Bible states He dances and smiles over me.  I'm probably even got a wink from Him that day with Him saying, "Enjoy, my child.  Enjoy."  Now, no, I don't know the last part for sure but I can imagine that any parent appreciates a thank you for a gift and enjoys watching their child be happy.  God is my Father and He will take care of me.  My needs for sure He promised in His Word, but the wants, well, sometimes He just throws those in because He loves me.  It's the same for all His children.  He also loves the entire world but that doesn't mean the world wants anything to do with Him.  So sad.  He's totally wonderfully awesome and cool!
