Two Years Today

Two long years, that have somehow managed to pass. I wish I could say that I'm just doing fine and I know your in a better place and thats just great. All of it, just words to a lonely heart. A lonely heart that can only be healed when we are together, once more. One day at a time, I suppose and for me........making it through today is about all I can handle. Sweetheart, you know it's only me left........ there will be no one to offer a hug or shed a tear or embrace a memory, with me. Today, another friend committed suicide and although there is never a good time, I just cannot believe he chose this day. I don't know that I can allow myself to feel anything. Never Goodbye, Just Goodnight, for now.......
